As parents who spent a lot of time trying to find flame retardant-free products for our newborns, coming across a brand like Uppababy was a relief. Here was a brand that explicitly avoided this class of toxic chemicals that are linked to a variety of health impacts. So when we had a chance to take a deeper and more complete look at the company we had high hopes. Unfortunately, the reality based on our research shows a variety of foundational gaps when it comes to their ingredient safety and sustainability efforts.
