Privacy Policy
1. Personal, Sensitive, and Non-Personal Information Hilde Collects.
Hilde may collect data about users of the Services directly from you (such as when you sign up for a subscription, membership, or make a contribution), automatically when you use the Service (such as when you interact with a webpage), and sometimes from third parties (such as our service providers, business partners, and other third parties). Some of this data may be considered “personal information” or “personal data”, and some may be considered “sensitive”, under various applicable laws. Hilde will also treat other information, including IP addresses and cookie identifiers, as “personal data” where required by applicable law. Hilde will treat certain personal data as “sensitive data” as required by applicable law.
1.1 Data You Provide Directly.
Hilde may de-identify or pseudonymize personal data so that it is non-personal, such as aggregating (including combining it with data about other individuals or companies) and/or or converting it to a code, sometimes using a function commonly known as “hash”, or otherwise removing characteristics that make the data personally identifiable to you. Hilde maintains and uses de-identified data without attempting to re-identify it, except where permitted by applicable law, such as to determine whether Hilde’s de-identification processes satisfy legal requirements.
Hilde will treat de-identified or pseudonymized data as non-personal to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law. If Hilde combines non-personal data with personal data, then Hilde will treat the combined information as personal data under this Privacy Policy.
Hilde may ask you to provide data directly, such as, without limitation:

· Login information, such as username and password); and
· Other data you choose to provide (such as information about why you’d like a company to be evaluated or questions you request to be discussed during a Subscription Q&A session).
1.2 Payment Data.
When you make a contribution or sign up for a subscription or membership, Hilde collects payment data, such as credit card or bank account information, billing, and other financial information, and information about your transaction history. You also have the option to store payment information, including your telephone number, for recurring contributions or your subscription or membership. We use third party payment processors to process contributions and payments.
1.3 User Content and Submission Features.
The Services may provide you the opportunity to communicate with Hilde via email, online means or other means, via telephone, or publicly post comments to an evaluation, article, blog post, or session, message us, request a company rating, or provide other Content through the Services (collectively, “Your Content”). Your submission of Your Content is subject to the Terms of Use for the Services which gives Hilde the right to use Your Content, online or offline, in connection with its business activities. Personal information, such as your name, user name (from the Services or your social media account), or where you reside, may be publicly displayed with Your Content. Others may access it, use it, and share it. Hilde is not responsible for how others use Your Content that you submit or post.
1.4 Data Hilde Collects Automatically when you Access or Use the Service
Cookies, Tags, and Other Technologies. When you use the Services, Hilde and its third party business partners (including any third party service providers or third party content, advertising, and analytics partners) may use a variety of technologies, including cookies and pixel tags, that automatically or passively collect certain information when you access, use, or otherwise interact with the Services (“Device ID/Interaction Information”).
1.5 Device ID/Interaction Information may include, but is not limited to:
· Information about the devices you use to access the Services (such as the IP address, mobile device identifier and other unique identifier, and the type of the device, operating system, and web browser);
· Dates, times, and duration of use of the Services (including whether you are a repeat or first-time visitor);and

1.6 Device ID/Interaction Information may be collected through the use of the following technologies:
a. Cookies and Local Storage. A “cookie” and local storage are text files placed within a browser on a device when it is used to visit the Services. Certain web browsers and browser add-ons may provide additional local data storage mechanisms. Hilde may use cookies and similar technologies to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser, to store information or settings in the browser, to help keep your use of the Services more secure, to study traffic patterns on the Services, to study the effectiveness of Hilde’s customer communications, to maintain the integrity of the Services, to measure crash analytics and other maintenance related data, to manage and measure the performance of advertisements displayed on or delivered by or through the Services, and to personalize your experience through the Services, such as to recognize you when you return to the Services. b. Pixel Tags. Small graphic images or other web programming code (also known as a web beacon, Internet tag, pixel tag, or clear GIF) may be included in Hilde’s web pages and email messages. These and similar technologies may be used for a number of purposes by Hilde and its third party providers, including to transmit information about actions of the user opening the page or email containing the beacon back to a web server, to count visitors to the Services, to monitor how users navigate Services, or for marketing and targeted advertising purposes. The data Hilde collects through this technology may include the first date and time you open Hilde’s email, and whether you click any links included in Hilde’s email.
c. Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect data about your interactions with the Services, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily used by Hilde’s server or a third party service provider or business partner while you browse or interact with the Services and is deactivated or deleted when you disconnect from the Services.
d. Session Replay Technology. Hilde may record through session replay technology your interactions with the Services, such as what pages you visit on the Services, how long you visit those pages, and any links you click or data you provide. Hilde uses this data for internal business purposes, such as for website analytics, to improve the Services and its products and services, and to address functionality issues.
e. Approximate Location Data. Please note that Hilde may be able to collect or infer your approximate location through other data Hilde collects, such as your IP address.
1.7 Data Hilde Collects from Third Parties
Enhancement Data. Hilde may receive data about you from other third parties, such as data aggregators, third party websites, service providers and other business partners. Hilde may also supplement the data it collects with outside records from third parties, such as public databases, publicly available social media pages, and third parties who enhance the data we have about you, in order to provide you with information or services you have requested, to tailor content, to offer you opportunities to purchase products or services that Hilde believes may be of interest to you, and for other business purposes. The data collected and stored by third parties is subject solely to the third party’s privacy practices.

We may use information we obtain, including personal data and Device ID/Interaction Information as follows:

3. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties.
We may disclose the information we have about you (including personal information) in the circumstances described below or elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, as disclosed at the time you provide the data, or otherwise with your consent.
3.1 Third Parties Providing Services on Our Behalf. We may share personal data about you with contractors, service providers, and other third parties who provide services on our behalf, such as processing contributions, fulfilling subscription or membership orders, subscription or membership account providers, survey providers, providing processing or other information technology services, sending email or other communications, security and fraud prevention vendors, and similar entities. We do not allow these third parties to use or share this information for any purpose other than to provide services on our behalf. Certain service providers may use AI/machine learning models to provide services to us on our behalf.
3.2 Third Party Integrations/Other Third Parties to Whom You Agree or Direct Us To Share Your Information. We do not share your personal data with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes without providing you the ability to consent (opt-in or opt-out). 3.3 Other Users of our Services. If you choose to provide Your Content or participate in a Q&A session or other feature, we may make certain information about you available to other users of our Service. In such cases, we will share certain information you provide including your first name and last initial.
3.4 Non-Personal Data. Except as expressly prohibited by law, we may share non-personal data that we collect, such as certain Device ID/Interaction Information, aggregate user statistics, and hashed or otherwise de-identified or pseudonymized data (including email addresses), and/or our analyses derived from such data, with third parties in our discretion, including for targeted advertising purposes.

Hilde reserves the right to disclose any data as needed to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request; to protect the integrity of the Site; to fulfill your requests; to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation, an investigation on a public safety matter, or an investigation into claims of intellectual-property infringement; to protect and defend the legal rights or property of Hilde and its affiliates and shareholders, any Service or its users, or any other party; or, in an emergency, to protect the health and safety of our users or the general public. We may also use Device Identifiers to identify users, and may do so in cooperation with copyright owners, Internet service providers, wireless service providers, or law enforcement agencies, in our discretion.
3.6 Law Enforcement. We may disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us to legal liability. This may involve sharing various information relating to our users and fraudulent or potentially fraudulent activities with our fraud prevention, credit risk reduction, and similar service providers, and they will use this information to help us and their other clients prevent fraudulent and illegal transactions.
3.7 Business Transfers/Changes of Control. We have implemented commercially reasonable measures intended to protect your personal information. 6. Updating Your Information.

Hilde will make good faith efforts to make requested changes in our then active databases as soon as reasonably practicable. Note, however, that data may persist internally for administrative purposes and that residual data may remain on backup media or for other reasons. 7. General Audience.
The Service are not directed to, and Hilde does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from, children under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we might have any information from or about your child under the age of 18, please contact us at info@heyhilde.com.
8. Social Media and Other Third Party Platforms.
The Services may permit or facilitate interactions with an interactive third party website or service ("Social Media"), such as enabling you to "like" or "share" content. If you choose to share content or otherwise post information from or via the Services to Social Media, that data may be public, and the third party may have access to data about you and your use of the Service. You may also choose to participate on Social Media in a way that connects that third party service with the Services (such as posting to one of our pages on a Social Media site). Doing so may allow us to collect (or the third party to share) data about you. These third party Social Media platforms may be able to collect certain data about your visits to the Site regardless of whether or not you affirmatively interact with the feature and whether or not you are logged into (or have) an account with the third party platform.

10. Social Media Widgets.
The Site may include social media features (“Features”), such as the Facebook Like button, and widgets, such as the Share This button or interactive applications or mini programs that run on the Site. These Features may collect your Internet protocol address, which page you are visiting on the Site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. The use of this functionality may involve the third party operator providing certain information, including Personal Information, to us. If you click on social media icons on the Site (such as for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, or Instagram), those actions may be associated with, and we may have access to, your Personal Information you provided on those third party sites or applications.
