Evaluation Summary
Company Insights
OSEA is a great example of a beauty brand that has a solid foundation on ingredient safety and is making progress on reducing their environmental impacts as well. They take climate protection seriously and we like that they primarily use glass for their packaging. We see a few areas where they have opportunities for improvement. Like some other companies, we suspect OSEA would have scored better on the people benefits part of our evaluation if they provided more public information about their policies and practices. Overall we think the foundation is in place for them to easily build a best-in-class business by addressing a few gaps and evolving their approach.
