Evaluation Summary
Company Insights
We first found Clek when we were deep in a research rabbit hole before our first child was born. We knew from our time in the NGO world that car seats and other baby products that use foam and textile materials could still be laced with highly toxic chemicals like flame retardants, despite evidence that they were not effective in slowing the spread of fires. Our research indicates that Clek is doing a solid job when it comes to ingredient safety for their products. The company has some opportunities for improvement when it comes to sustainability.
