Company Insights
Unlike many of the companies out there making tableware (e.g. plates, cups, bowls, etc.) for kids, Ahimas is clearly focused on ingredient safety. This emphasis makes a ton of sense given the kinds of products they make and the options available from other companies. We always like to see an assortment-wide commitment to best-in-class safety certifications like Made Safe. If you’re buying exclusively on ingredient safety then this is one to consider. Unfortunately, the company did not score well on the other categories that we evaluate for our ratings. We hope the company will expand their ethical business efforts moving forward and expand beyond ingredient safety.
